Our New "Bookmobile"

Was leaving work tonight and exited through the back parking lot only to be greeted by the sight of our new "bookmobile" in the back parking lot.

   

Actually, I came out of the parking lot to see the bus driver at the bus stop with his supervisor, three police officers and a campus security officer. Guess something happened and the bus driver had to move the bus out of Sinclair Circle so the other buses could drop off/pick up riders.  What better place to park an articulated bus than our staff parking lot.  Hope the driver of the unfamiliar car in our parking lot wasn't in any rush to leave because there was no room in the driveway!

What's this?

At the end of every semester, some odd pieces of art sprout up on campus.  No, the menehune are not at work.  These pieces of art are the final projects for some art students.  This one is located along McCarthy Mall.  Too bad it was too overcast yesterday afternoon for us to enjoy the stained glass effect.

Today's Lunch @BigCityDiner

Woo hoo!  Since it's Sunday, it's Brunch Menu time @BigCityDiner!  Guess what we ate?


Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Haupia Sauce - FTW!  We didn't have as much haupia sauce as @djELITE did with his take-out (http://twitpic.com/42f73), but da buggah was still broke da mouth ono!  We went to the Ward location.

P.S.
The Brunch Menu is served until 3:30 PM.  (Not a typo!)

Aww, we found Gracie napping in one of her favorite spots on campus.  I called her and she slowly opened her eyes and meowed at me.  She didn't move.  Such a sweetie.
