Talk about getting a large thing into a small space! This driver's got some mad driving skills in that he had to back this baby between the second container and the brick wall.

Found this while eating lunch. So funny that I just had to share it with you all. Enjoy!

Filling up the first container with the last of the shelving parts destined for Palau.
I missed the first container pulling out of the driveway, but got a picture of the forklift driver moving the pallet driver into our receiving room.
Next up, the arrival of the third container. Hope I can hear the beeping and getting some shots of the truck driver's great skill at backing up the container!

Today's activity in our parking lot entails the filling of two out of three 40-foot shipping containers with spare shelving parts, overhead projectors and TV carts. These containers are destined for Palau, Pohnpei and Saipan via Reach Out Pacific (REPAC). Also in the containers are boxes of donated books and several respirators collected by REPAC.
What better way to spread the aloha to our fellow libraries in the South Pacific!Comments [0]

I did not run, but nevertheless I did finish the Marathon in approximately 8:22. (Finisher certificate in storage so can't get the official time.)
This is the first year that the Honolulu Marathon startline is at the intersection of Ala Moana Blvd. and Queen Street. I hope to walk it one more time. It definitely is something to experience.
